Angry Birds is a puzzle video game developed by Finland-based Rovio Mobile, in which players use a slingshot to launch birds at pigs stationed on or within various structures, with the intent of destroying all the pigs on the playfield. Inspired by a simple sketch of stylized wingless birds, the game was first released for Apple’s iOS in December 2009. Since that time, over 12 million copies of the game have been purchased from Apple’s App Store, which has prompted the company to design versions for other touchscreen-based smartphones, including those using the Android and the Symbian^3 operating systems. Rovio Mobile has supported Angry Birds with numerous free updates that add additional game content, and the company has even released stand-alone holiday versions of the game.
Angry Birds has been praised for its successful combination of addictive gameplay, comical style, and low price. Its popularity led to versions of Angry Birds being created for personal computers and gaming consoles, a market for merchandise featuring its characters and even long-range plans for a feature film or television series. With over 50 million downloads across all platforms, the game has been called “one of the most mainstream games out right now” and “one of the great runaway hits of 2010″.

LOL | Protest Against Veena Malik
A case has been filed against Pakistani actress VeenaVeena Malik in a Lahore court for committing “immoral” and “un-Islamic acts” during her appearance on Indian reality TV show Bigg Boss 4.The case was filed recently in the court of an additional district and sessions judge by Lahore resident Mian Muhammad Iqbal. According to the Pakistani media, the petitioner contended that Malik’s acts were “immoral” and “un-Islamic”.
Facebook Owner Mark Zuckerburg’s Facebook Account Hacked
Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook fan page seems to have been hacked, with the hacker posting a message calling on the company to transform into a “social business.”
The message, seemingly posted on Facebook from Mark Zuckerberg’s account, was quickly removed (together with the fan page), but not quickly enough to go by unnoticed, receiving more than 1,800 “likes” and hundreds of comments in the process.
The message read: “Let the hacking begin: If facebook needs money, instead of going to the banks, why doesn’t Facebook let its users invest in Facebook in a social way? Why not transform Facebook into a ‘social business’ the way Nobel Prize winner Muhammad Yunus described it? [LINK] What do you think? #hackercup2011″
Facebook made no statement about the incident, but if Zuckerberg’s fan page was indeed hacked, it’s a big deal. If the Facebook CEO (more accurately, the PR team that’s handling the page for him) can’t keep his Facebook account safe from intruders, who can?

According to reports, Imran Khan and Avantika Malik are all set to tie the knot on the 8th of January,i.e., less than a week from today. The actor has opted for a court marriage, but the mehndi celebrations following the registry will be a detailed ceremony with guests including the big shots of Bollywood.Media reports suggest that the invitees for the ceremony is presently being distributed among several Bollywood and non-Bollywood families and preparations for the event are in full swing. The mehndi ceremony will be held at the farmhouse of the Malik family located in Karjat, a stone’s throw from Mumbai. The Imran Khan – Avantika Malik mehndi ceremony invites contain a detailed description of the dress code to be followed, a site map, a swipe card and the timings of the rituals, all of which are also accompanied with a box of chocolates. The invitation card is the concept of Uttara Shah, a renowned card designer in Mumbai.
Imran Khan is surely on a personal and professional high in the recent past. The actor who had been written off as a one film wonder after successive duds at the box office, bounced back towards the end of last year. His wedding with Avantika Malik also means a lovely start to this year, though it also means breaking a number of young girls’ hearts!

There’s a silly rumor exploding on the Internet this weekend, alleging that Facebook is shutting down on March 15 because CEO Mark Zuckerberg “wants his old life back,” and desires to “put an end to all the madness.”
There is an official confirmation from Facebook Director of Corporate Communications Larry Yu that the rumor is false. Facebook responded, “The answer is no, so please help us put an end to this silliness.” He added, “We didn’t get the memo about shutting down and there’s lots to do, so we’ll just keep cranking away like always.”
Let’s think about this for a minute. Would Facebook decide to shut down the company just a few days after announcing a round of funding, consisting of $450 million from Goldman Sachs and $50 million from Russian investment firm Digital Sky Technologies, on a valuation of $50 billion?
The spurious report was started by a site to which we refuse to link, known for its reports of impending attacks of alien spaceships and false reports of a Michelle Obama pregnancy.
The fact that this absurd hoax spread so efficiently makes us wonder: Will people believe anything?

This happened 3 years after the assassination of Slain Bhutto.
